She is a Style Expert, Fashion Stylist & Designer, TV Columnist, Image Maker & Wedding Stylist. She was born in April 1966 and while growing up she was a little tomboy and it never crossed her mind that she would end up working in the fashion industry. She was a competitive athlete in swimming and wanted to become a war correspondent. However, her grandmother was a seamstress and from that she got influenced and began to create her own (clothes) pieces.
When she was younger, she often visited France, mainly during the summer holidays, and her interest in clothes somehow predicted her career in fashion. She graduated from Arsakeio. Then, she attended Fashion Courses in Paris and seminars at the Central St.Martins in London. She lived New York for many years. In 2008, after returning to Greece, she created the ABFAB press office and showroom known nowadays as stylishious. She has worked in many magazines in Greece as a fashion editor and as a costume designer in theatresand television series such as: Dilemmas, Steps, 50-50, Classmates, etc. It was she who dressed Roula Koromila in the first TV show that was screened in Greece. Later, she collaborated with other great artists such as Sakis Rouvas, Despina Vandi, Tamta, Nikos Oikonomopoulos. She has also collaborated with artists such as Carmen Electra, Louise Roe and others.
Alexandra also appeared on the shows of Fay Skorda, Eleni Menegaki and Sissy Christidou, and she used to have her own fashion column (στήλη) on Ant1’s TV show, Joy. She is better known for her participation as a judge on Skai’sTV show My Style Rocks. Alexandra has her own e-shop, showroom and press office, stylishious, in which she also presents her own collections: alexandRAIN winter, alexSANDra on the beach and the plus-size collection Alex + Hype.
Alexandra loves colours, imagination and mix and match,while she does not like exaggerations and copying. For Alexandra freedom is happiness. For her clients, she tries to get inspired from fashion trends but always try to understand the needs of the people she works with or works for. She believes that fashion and style differ. She even runs her own styling seminars, where she tries to educate her audience,what style is/means, by helping them find their own style and what they feel comfortable with. She sees herself as a perfectionist, and her main disadvantage but also advantage she considers her-self to be persistent. She is always smiling and happy and ready to share with her audience and clients, her knowledge of her work which she loves so much.
